Encased with toughened orange skin
A candle glowing from within
The pumpkin lantern’s beam shines bright
This traditional October night.
A masterpiece? Yes, carved with care
A warming face with lasting stare.
What antics makes our hearts skip beat
Tap tap reveals a trick or treat.
Pulses race as spooky ghouls
rattle tins as toffee drools
Crowds stop by to have their fill
sweet treats a never ending spill.
Enchanting shadows fill the wall
It’s Halloween, let’s have a ball!
